September Osceola CERT Training

Osceola  Citizen Emergency Response Team ( CERT ) is offering another basic training course!  We are offering the National CERT Basic Course.  
It is a 20 hour course over 3 days that provides participants with general knowledge of; 
  • Basic Light Fire Suppression
  • Basic Search and Rescue
  • Disaster Medical Triage
  • Terrorism recognition
  • Personal Preparedness
This class will be held September 28th-30th 2012.

  • Friday September 28th 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday September 29th 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday September 30th 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
It will be held at Osceola County Emergency Management Department;

What Is National Preparedness Month?

September is National Preparedness Month! This awareness month is sponsored by the Ready Campaign in partnership with Citizen Corps and the Ad Council. NPM is designed to encourage Americans to take simple steps to prepare for emergencies in their homes, businesses, and communities.
